All Truckmounts and Truckmount Carpet Cleaning Machines share three components:

A water pressurization system to allow transport of the cleaning solution from a storage tank to the solution distribution jets just above the carpet.  There are two considerations when evaluating the water pressurization system of Truckmounts: FLOW; A Truckmount Wand typically flows about 2.2 gallons per minute through the jets at a PRESSURE of 500 pounds per square inch. Truckmounts will usually flow about 3.5 gpm max. Truckmounts are usually regulated to a maximum pressure of 1200 psi. Some Truckmounts are equipped with high pressure washing circuits that will provide up to 4000 psi, but it is generally accepted as a bad idea to expose the expensive components of a Truckmount to such extreme high pressures. You can buy a much better pressure washer for around $1,500.00.
